Shelly Wilkinson received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 1999 and worked as an Emergency Room nurse in Salt Lake City, UT. In 2003, she graduated with her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan.  Shelly has enjoyed working in urgent care, family practice, and private practice ever since.

Shelly is a devoted wife and grateful mother to 5 handsome boys. She feels lucky to live the busy yet fulfilling life of a mother.

Shelly became interested in the field of medical aesthetics many years ago. She initially trained under her father, L. Douglas Israelsen, who was a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who performed thousands of cosmetic procedures over his 45 year career. Shelly has also received specialized training to become certified in cosmetic injections, such as Botox, Facial fillers, and Sculptra (a collagen stimulator). She enjoys improving the overall sense of well-being of her clients as she helps them look and feel their best.

Shelly is also certified in NAET, an alternative medicine treatment for the elimination of allergies. She loves helping her clients naturally improve their quality of life through this amazing technique developed by Dr. Devi Nambudripad.

Shelly has pursued further training in Acupuncture and other alternative techniques and has developed a healing modality combining pearls from her Eastern Medicine training called “Embracing Light Technique”. She offers courses to teach these pearls to her clients so they have tools to help themselves at home on their healing journeys.

One of Shelly’s latest passions and certifications is helping to prevent chronic disease through the researched-based use of bio-identical hormones. In the first year of taking hormone clients, Shelly’s hormone practice grew from zero clients to more than 200 clients because of her ability to educate and empower her clients. They feel great, have energy, and see their chronic disease risks decrease.
